I made shredded pork with a green chile sauce today in the crockpot. It's YUM. Did a rub of salt, garlic, oregano, rosemary (it was a mistake), lime juice, brown sugar. Then I poured Hatch Green chiles in and let it slow cook.
Crying. Hatch green chile. You beeotch. I miss the eyeburning scent of barrel-roasting hatch green chiles in the Albertsons' lot.
These aren't fancy (or hot) green chiles. It's more like hatch green enchilada sauce. But still amazingly yum. Not to taunt too much.
Is anyone watching Castle? Or is it being discussed elsewhere?
