Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, but that differs from a dog's normal day how?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

More munchies?

Oh, wait.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I feel like all I do is vent here, but here is more. The company just instituted a new process for something I do everyday and it involves new software (of course). One of the few things I had created and kept really up-to-date was a document outlining the steps for this one task I do - I maintained the doc so that anyone could step in and do this one thing (because it's pretty important). Now it is all inaccurate and needs a complete overhaul, not a couple of tweaks. Meanwhile, I am having to learn the new system and it takes longer per task than the old way (of course), so I don't have any free time to update the doc. grrr.

A family memeber comented to me how I always seem to get frustrated at a job about a year in, and maybe I do or did (I think it is a valid observation especially in the years I was focused on adoption), but the comment has twinged me so badly. Two jobs ago, I had it for 1.5 years and they ended my contract. The next job, I was there 2.5 years and my job completely changed in that time. This job I've been at 14 months and my workload doubled in November. le sigh. anyhoo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes. It's still warmish here.

Yeah, that's not you, it's them. Like my history of bad bosses -- I really believe it's just bad luck (and/or the Peter principle in action across the field....).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In news about my job, I am on hold with a help desk, just like I was at the end of the workday on Friday. Although it's a different help desk this time.

Grr.

Oh, snap -- after 13 minutes on hold, they put me into voicemail.

Who watches Burn Notice? Am I the only one who spent the entirety of Michael Shanks's first episode not knowing it was him?

No, I knew he was going to be on - but I didn't recognize him.
