'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I walked to the library, drew a page's worth of art cards, and walked back, noticing that practically everyone in the neighborhood that can be outside, is.

It's 59 here.

Oh, I love those kind of puzzles--when I took the GRE the first time (which was the last time they offered it on paper) I hadn't studied, and didn't know they had a whole section with that sort of puzzles, and was all excited when I got to it and found that. Wheee! (I scored really well on that section, luckily, like a 790/800). Sadly, they took it away after that, so the next time I took it, on computer, no fun. Not that I've actually ended up applying to grad school either time...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I started that puzzle, made an error, and couldn't be arsed to fix it. Mostly I just really want to go back to sleep. Not proving to be possible. So I watched bits of Dog Soldiers instead, and am surprised to notice I think Kevin McKidd is hotter either as the other characters I've seen him play, or just without a Scottish accent.

And then I listened to a Christian Kane interview where he bitches about Lindsey's fate, amongst other things, and says that he will sing in the next season of Leverage. I hope he means onscreen and not just like he did in season 1. Go team Eliot. Who is explicitly modeled on BA Baracas, I have now learnt.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Apartment hunting was a bust, come home after driving for six hours all over the Skylands, barely get the can of catfood open when the door downstairs bangs so loudly the cats freak out and hiss. I'm having nightmares about her again coupled with moving-out anxiety (people walked into my apartment having already rented it and I had to go. I punched them all in the faces while crazy lady downstairs kept slamming the doors). Renewing this lease is so not an option!

Also, why the f*** is the Section 8 apartment I stumbled upon bigger and better than any of the other shitholes I visited today?!!!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Is there any buzz on the Castle? I just watched first few scene on abc. I'll be TIVOing, but not sure it is anything specail. But then again it does have NF, so I have to give it a try.

Now tagless for your comfort.

beth, DH told me not to give too high odds on Castle's survival because of NF. I'm going to watch because he's just so damned cute. I hope it ends up being good.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The 10 pm on a work night part is a deal killer for me (I don't have Tivo). If everyone raves about it I'll set my vcr.

I was going to check it out anyway, but I just read that Aldia Hodge is in an ep. I hope it airs.

Ooh! Castle's tonight? I hope it's as cheesy fun as it looks.

Went to do laundry and noticed that not only did the slamming disturb me and distress my cats, it also knocked everything over on the low shelf against the stairwell wall. Nothing broke. I'm almost disappointed.
