Hurt your brain: Einstein's riddle.
We did it this morning, and it drove me bonkers. (I eventually got the right answer.)
Also, for anyone doing it, let me say this, because we read it in a magazine that worded hints #4 and #9 differently:
4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house. [This is if you are looking at the houses, NOT in them.]
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house. [Leftmost.]
Go!
I am too lazy to do that kind of logic puzzle anymore.
Me too. I know it will make my brain hurt. I know I can do it anyway, despite the brain-pain, but I don't see the point.
Ooops. Sorry -- just wanted to share.
If I had some graph paper handy, maybe -- I really loved that kind of thing as a kid.
Therefore, I submit that it's not that 98% of people aren't smart enough, it is that we are too lazy.
Ooops. Sorry -- just wanted to share.
No need to apologize - there are plenty of smart Buffistas up to the challenge, methinks.
I'm guessing the Einstein part (and the percentages) is an urban legend? Still a good puzzle.

I'm considering an Excel spreadsheet.
I'm considering an Excel spreadsheet.
I started a chart, and then gave up and drew big houses and started scribbling down the factors, many of which were guesses.
Which is actually sort of chartlike, now that I think about it.
