Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Those poor children are going to end up like the Dionne Quintuplets, with a pay-per-view webcam rather than a nursery with a glass wall.

She'll probably put them all in little fur suits in an attempt to make the next PuppyCam.

Dude. I had no idea how much cigarettes cost! (I imagine it's less per pack if you buy a carton? Not that I'm encouraging it.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is not less if you buy a carton. Also, it is significantly less outside of NYC -- the mayor is determined to make us healthier.

There are a group of firemen sitting next to me. They are talking about how much better the "safety-net" of health care, insurance, etc. is in Europe.

Because books.

I feel like I've lost the ability to comment on Suleman without it becoming a rant. Or a whimper... those poor kids. My heart goes out to them. (And by poor kids, I mean all 14. sigh.)

Burrell is me.

Jesse, when I was working in NYC and living in PA (Bucks County), I used to buy cartons every week for a woman I worked with who lived in NYC, so she could save some money. And that back in 2001 and 2002. I can't imagine what she does now. It's INSANE.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Wow. Also not aware of how much cigarettes cost. You'd probably save money by slapping on a nicotine patch once a day and not having to smoke for a couple hours -- because while the patches are pricey, they're not that pricey.

Really? So cartons are a convenience thing, not a price thing. I did not know that.
