So far, my two leads are both, "she sounds awesome. I have no idea where we'd put her, but send me her resume."

Well, that's certainly promising!

Good luck, Allyson!

So I got a notice today from Citibank saying my credit line was reduced to $100 (from $10000+). Is this a bankruptcy thing? Or an "I never use that card" thing?

I don't care since I never use that card; I was just keeping it as a safety until I pay off the student loan I put on my Chase card. But I can't afford getting something like this from Chase.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Megan, it's probably because you never use that card. I got something similar about a month ago from a card that I never use.

Cool. Not as cool as shrift's hair, but cool.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

You *are* frickin' awesome, Allyson, but yeah, it's easier to write a resume if you know what kind of job it's for.

Yeesh megan, good thing you don't use that one.

Our wings are not tired.

Megan, same thing happened to me. It's not you, it's the credit card companies reducing all possible risk.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It's 13° this morning. Yuck!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Megan, I've been hearing/reading news stories about that a lot recently. Even business accounts that were active AND being paid on time have had their limits slashed. I heard an NPR story about American Express offering money -- $500, maybe? -- to certain cardholders to close their accounts.

This, I think, is not the way to get the economy moving.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've had my education at the bottom of my resume forever -- I put it at the top again for this job, because I was actually in grad school, but otherwise, I think work experience is more compelling than education in most fields.
