"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's a pleasant 69 and sunny here in the mountains. I'm just saying.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's 60 in my house, and raining outside. I'm huddled under a blanket.

We're up to 4 inches. I am pretty sure the city doesn't own a snowplow. Lots of branches down. If we lose power I will be pissed - no fireplace!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm preemtively sad assuming we'll get 6 inches of snow and work tomorrow.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hi Dillo!

If we get 6 inches overnight, it will shut down.

Neighbors have lost a LARGE tree. We kind of want to take down one of our trees, so I am torn between hoping one falls, and worrying one will fall ON something. Like, say, the house, which would be bad.

Hiya, Dillo!

We have a number of trees around my apartment complex, but the landlord's been pretty good about taking down the worrisome looking ones. Still, I chose my parking spot with possible tree-fall angles in mind.
