it helps to think of whatever job I do as a living and not a life, you know?
Yes it does. I was talking with a coffee shop aquatience who is in a bad situation right now -- sHe has a boss that says things like "i don't need to listen to clerical staff" after asking her a question. My friend isn't thrilled, but as she said this morning it isn't her life.
But I hope Tim is right.
Congratulations to you and your DH, beth b!
I hope the pain stays away, Steph.
Yay for Matt! What a relief.
Congrats to Matt!
I just realised that Dev Patel is the kid from Skins. I can't believe he's supposed to be dating Freida Pinto.
Off-topic - how difficult is it to replace a faucet? If I can put together an IKEA coffee table and know which valves to turn off before I start, would I be wasting my money hiring a plumber?
I hatehateHATE the faucets in our second bathroom, and would like to do something about them.
Replacing faucets is pretty easy, so long as your wrenches can get to where the nuts are.
Repairing
faucets is a lot tougher. Nowadays it's usually better to replace them instead.
I wore myself out going to the grocery store and Target. Guess I really am feeling puny.
I haven't done it, Jessica, but we have to do our kitchen sink. It doesn't look hard. It might take me longer than Matt, but I believe I could do it. screwdriver, possible a wrench/pliers.
Hrm. I bet one of my neighbors has the necessary wrenches, if I don't.
Repair isn't a option - it's not that they're broken, it's that they're terrible. The handles are these useless squat squareish things and are next to impossible to get a grip on with wet hands. (And completely impossible for Dylan to reach, which will be important in the next year or so when we start potty training and learning to wash his own hands.)
and thank you for the congratulations
