Could be, though. If they wanted him to suffer before he died all they had to do was stand there.
I'm thinking their thinking was along the lines of, "He's engaging in a prohibited form of protest! Shoot him!"
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

So I'm writing a paper for a class. Two weeks ago I had to submit an introduction, research plan, and bibliography. Now I am submitting a revised introduction, revised research plan, ooutline, and expanded bibliography.
Problem is, my topic hasn't changed much as I have read more on the subject, and my introduction is still entirely relevant. And it's good and succinct - to make it longer would be more like writing the whole paper. But changing it just to "revise" it seems dumb. I mean, it is already good! Adding detail would wreck it!
Ideas?
I dunno. Just include a note saying, "At this point in the process, I feel revisions to the introduction are unnecessary"? And then maybe include the introduction again?
Did your prof give you any comments? can you incorporate those.
Or submit it without revisions and see if anyone notices.
So, I was all excited to go to this thing for the 20th anniversary of Do The Right Thing tonight -- Chuck D performing, Spike Lee speaking, it looked really cool -- and then I looked at the invite again, and it was last night! Bummer.
Although just as well on one level, so I can be fresh and well-rested for the crosswords tomorrow.

This. Honestly, the only reason I used to ask for things in stages was so that people weren't coming up with projects the night before the deadline, and maybe to check on the few people that might have problems or issues.
just as I am contemplating how long a person might be able to survive on only bananas, plain bread and vitamin water, something sounded appetizing.....for a few seconds and then the naseau came back and I changed off the food network.
Try this one for the Asiatic Lion Cub.
Such a cute face! And that stuffed lion isn't going to survive long with him gnawing at it.
