It took me several days to find out my father was in the hospital in '96 because my boyfriend spent all his time on the computer.
Back in '91, I once left the phone line connected to my computer, so my roommate couldn't get any calls. Then I got hit by a car and ended up in the hospital for 5 days. My brother had to go over to my apartment to tell my roommate what happened. She was a little freaked at first until she got the whole story.
It crashed Opera, but it worked in Firefox just fine.
Must be my "don't let you feel old" plug-in....
Anyone (ever) watch any Graham Norton? I think I'm addicted. He's so rude but sweet. He has Gerard Depardieu on the episode that showed last night, and that guy is such a doll. The show before had Dustin Hoffman and his wife, who looks eerily young--they've been together 30 years and she looks 35.
I love Graham Norton. I think American talk shows could only benefit from the host and the guests drinking wine.
I know DH is way older than his wife. I vaguely remember some interview where he said she'd declared as a kid that she'd grow up and marry him. And I think he knew her parents. Somehow it was sweet and not creepy.
They made a really great couple.
I could totally hear that.
I first went online when they gave us access here at work back in spring 1997. I found quite a few sites, including my first discussion board where I hung out until I discovered Table Talk in the spring of Buffy S4 (what year was that?).

Sadly, in real life, he's apparently anything but.

Anthony Stewart Head was a guest on his show. Yes, there was a Buffy parody -- Norton playing the title character.
