Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That site is hilarious.

So, I am a complete doofus -- after hemming and hawing about this job announcement (do I even want to leave at this point? would I want to work there? what excuse would I give to go on an interview?), I finally sent off my resume to the headhunter, and....not a close enough fit. Classic.

Went well. Well, after I got there. The building doesn't mark suite #s (!!) and I walked past it several times, and not even the hotel concierge knew where it was. And it's really obvious, just the shopping center is bizarro land.

I like her, she's aggressive, but not pushy. I think I'm going with a $140K cap, but we're going to look at some upwards of that where they are all "motivate to sell!!!!" Which...there are an awfully lot. I've got some research to do on incentive programs.

10 am saturday to go look at houses. There's also one coming up as an estate sale (not on market yet) which we'll look at.

I'm sort of overwhelmed.

YAY!!!! Sounds good and I am glad you are getting out looking right away. I will now do all searches with that cap in mind.

Woo hoo! I'd imagine it will get easier when you start looking at places -- at least it will be easier to eliminate places.

hivemind. I have a turkey breast I'd like to cook up ala Thanksgiving tasting turkey. I'd also like to do it in the slow cooker. if I rub it down with spices (sage, S&P) and put some onions & celery in with it, along with a 1/2 of water or so, should that work? I have a recipe for slowcooker turkey breast, (but they are not seasoned T-dayish) so that gave me the cooking time.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I don't think it gets crispy in the slow cooker.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Not sure about the amount of liquid but the spice should work. If you have chiicken broth or wine or both -- I'd use them instead of water or as part of it anyway.
