Yep, but since they got her her two first big films (Heavenly Creatures, directed by Jackson, was her first feature, and Sense and Sensibility was her first nomination), I was glad to hear her shout out.

Oh, during the documentary award section, I was bouncing up and down in my chair. Not only was a high school classmate of mine -- Ellen Kuras -- featured in the mini-doc intro, but she was up for an award!
She was never a dumb cookie, but put all her energy into softball while in high school (#1 girls team for our state), so in some respects it's surprising she's done so well out of all of us, but in others, it's a logical progression with her drive and determination.
