I wish Wall-E would get some love too. Amazing what it did with little to no actual language dialogue.
Yeah, ND and I were just bemoaning this. As he says, the sound was so good that people don't realize how good it was. The designer Ben Burt is the same guy who did Star Wars--he created entire characters
entirely
with sound in both cases. He is the granddaddy of sound design and editing, and ND believes without a shadow of a doubt that he should have won for Wall-E.
Now would be a good time to FF.
I was just thinking the same thing. I think I have some dishes to do...
The music choices for this Jerry Lewis thing are odd.
Okay, I am going to protest Sandra Bullock as a Canadian.
WALL-E
did win didn't it?
I swear I have no idea what M.I.A. sounds like, had no idea she was even a person until the Grammy pictures. I am so out of touch.
Still, this thing is running long enough as it is.
Well, except we're down to score, song, the two big acting awards, director, foreign film and best picture. They've blasted out some of these awards in bigger, faster chunks than usual.
Ooh, ad for Castle! Guess I should start seeing if I can program my TiVo for it.
And Lifetime achievement, Frank. I don't even know who's getting it this year.
I think Castle looks bad, but damn do I like seeing NF again. he make me go yum.
