gotcha.

On the whole I am liking the way this Oscars is structured, I do think the banter could/should have been cut in many of the places - it seems to fit even less in this format.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That guy named his daughters Anna Mae and Ida. How quaint.

Okay, whatisname presenting now is highly annoying. But the French accepter was cute.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

But the French accepter was cute.

He is very charming and does not lack for ego.

Yeah, rolled my eyes that what the Ledger family's acceptance speech meant to maher was he wouldn't get a lot of yucks with his presentation.

I wonder what he got in return for his soul?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I like the little speeches as intros. It's like a graduation thing. And each person is actually honored. I prefer it to the tributes and the stilled banter.

There is NO WAY this will end before 11 Eastern Time. At this rate, it might not even end before 11:00 Pacific Time.

I'm getting a lot of promos for Southland, the Ben MacKenzie cop show on CTV.

Wasn't the French accepter the tightrope walker himself? Makes sense he can perform on stage as well as on a wire.

Truly, if they were going in order, the acting awards would be before post-production.
