Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What do the other cities listed with each big one signify? Wayne and White Plains are odd choices to put with NYC.

Yeah, I'm really surprised El Paso is up there, and Boston and DC aren't!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It must be the statistical metropolitan area or whatever that's called in the census?

Like I said, probably has to do with wages vs real estate costs. I can't believe what new houses go for in LC, given the employment market. A lot of the housing is going to fleeing snow/fire birds from Florida and CA. Given maybe 1/3 of the population is employed by the school district/U, working locals can't afford the majority of the stock going up. And it is insane. The east mesa is filling up with pretty boxes made out of ticky-tacky on teeny lots.

Tyra visually reminds me of Tammy SO MUCH when she goes all resolute. Fantastic casting/character parallels.

I told my mom I just pulled the trigger on the house hunt, didn't I? Wheeze.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Like I said, probably has to do with wages vs real estate costs.

I dunno. The cheapest places all have a huge number of home foreclosures and high unemployment.

Deep-fried Cadbury Egg: [link]

Note: Allow Cadbury Egg time to cool after deep-frying. Also note that the deep-fried peeps were less successful.

eta: The breaded, deep-fried ramen noodles were so bad, even the dog refused to eat it.
