I'm doing a repeat of last night. Veering wildly between, oooh and no fucking way. [link]

I registered through a realtor I liked's site for daily listing updates, and whoa I already have an email from here wondering if I'd like to sit and talk with her next week and when might I be able to do that. I knew she was very tech savvy, but now I want to hide from my email. So, um, when do I have time next week? Ulp.

eta: and yes, sorry guys, y'all are going to be getting a virtual play by play, I suspect. I need handholding and since neither my mother nor msbelle are in my apartment for this...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So I went here [link] to vote on the name for the new node in the ISS. 'Serenity' is way ahead, with 83% of the vote. The other options are all at 5% or 6%.

Yay!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You should absolutely sit with a Realtor, Sara. Can you line up a buyer's agent? They should help with handholding and advice.

I think in MD, you need a buyer's agent. Or at least a legal rep of some sort. It's been a while since I took a homebuying class, but even if not, I totally wouldn't do this without professional.

This agent is a fast-talking Texan. I just thought I should share that.

El Paso? Hrm. I guess based on average wages versus real estate costs. I always called it the concrete armpit of Texas. Neat geography, ruined by crazy building and lack of planning.

It's my standard generic search.

Oh nos, what's wrong with the Sylvester??
