Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Wait until he's fifteen and gets his learner's permit. Then he can double as a designated driver, too. (Or maybe that was just in my family?)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

(Or maybe that was just in my family?)

Ah, I see we grew up in the same family.

Good times.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My last IV might have fucked up my foot. It hurts *so* badly around the puncture site, especially heartwards. I can't put full weight on it. I guess it's a deep bruise or something.

Damnit ita. It's sad when I'm wishing you the jugular I got to see. (At least the doer that time was...scenic? Mighty buff and tall man he was.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is awesome: Guard Dog

Guard Dog is about a bulldog who takes his duties very seriously. This animated short by Bill Plympton was nominated for an Oscar in 2004.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Emmett made her a martini. With three olives.

"Do not allow your children to mix drinks. It is unseemly and they use too much vermouth." - Fran Lebowitz

I have to admit I have my favourites. I'm trying to remember if the guy you saw is the one that always gives me extra attention. But the individual doctors sometimes blur with the visits. Besides I was paying you more attention than them. Although I do remember the nurse and wanting to strangle him as much as he made me smile.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'd like to be Rizzo, too. But I am stuck as a Sandy, except rather homely.

Skipping yet again to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Jon B's birthday.

Happy birthday, Jon! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo birdies, Jon!

I'm in PA with Mom today, who is definitely doing much much better, albeit still on oxygen, but bright-eyed and able to do most things for herself. We may be able to relax Operation Mom-Watch to weekends in the near future.
