Buffy: Where are the burgers? Riley: Yeah man, I'm starving. Cow me. Xander: I'd love to make with the moo but the fire's not cooperating.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Now I have a dishwasher repairman camped out on my kitchen floor while the dishwasher runs. He's waiting to make sure the repair worked. Which is good, but it's kind of weird that he's just sitting on the floor.

Yeah, I know. But still-- that's a fairly exceptional level of mean.

Now blaring "Destination Anywhere" and singing along. The dogs are looking at me funny.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hey, I very thoughtfully neglected to mention anything about milkshakes, achy breaky hearts, or small worlds. I think that warrants some recognition.

Or you could just shake it like a polaroid picture.

::groans::

"Destination, anywhere... east or west, I don't care. You see my baby, don't want me no more, these four walls ain't got no back do-or..."

Was there something wrong with the front door? Is there, like, an aggressive magpie keeping her prisoner?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ahahahahaha, DUDE: [link]

I totally want to take one of those, and make it all sparkly, and attach a few feathers and streamers, etc. And make some other guy wear it.

...maybe a few flashing LEDs....

Only Ashford, Simpson, and the Marvelettes (well, and perhaps the Commitments) know for sure.

Compassionately intolerant

the Commitments

The version that came immediately to mind. Now I can't get Andrew Strong out of my head.

Actually...I don't mind.

Ashford and Simpson have a version?

I'm youtubeward.
