The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

If you can get showers and comfy chairs without having to go through customs&immigration (twice), that might be the way to go. If you have to go through C&I anyway, go for the hotel.

Jet lag was always worst for me when going east.

dcp, we have so many hours, I suspect c&I are negligible whether we have to or not. We'll see. Hopefully I'll get some response from airport services in the next few months.

Going east, I'm fine. West? NSM. Anticipation versus Oh hell, back to life regular.

Punishingly Intricate

So excited you'd take MK for 2+ weeks?

That would be some crazy times here! I'd consider it, if you were in a jam, but it's possible that cat-allergic boyfriend will be living here then (fingers crossed and knocking wood!). And that might just be more than his claritin can handle.

Ideal would be to get a trusted housesitter via work/friends (we have summer interns we keep on a tight leash. OR nursing students needing 3 weeks free housing over the summer, lisah you know anyone?)

I have a couple of petsitting friends both of whom have taken care of my guys so are comfortable with giving injections. I will email you!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm totally hoping the end of tonight's ep of Leverage means that there will not be a cliffhanger for the season finale.

Wow. I just realized that I completely forgot that I had suggested plans with a friend on Sunday - I mean, she was going to get back to me, and she never did, so it's not like I forgot to show up. BUT, she left a note for me on FB saying she was sorry we didn't connect, they're getting over the flu, and I thought she had posted on the wrong wall or something. Totally did not remember until three hours later!

Well, and I also thought she'd left the message today, when she actually left it yesterday, so there was timing confusion. But I really, completely didn't remember. That's just... yikes.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Friends stopped by they had us turn on American Idle. This is the strangest show -- I feel the need to make comments about people clothes.

The status is NOT quo.

Sara, so cool!

ita, ITA. (Okay, so I kind of always wanted to do that and didn't realize until right this second. Please don't krav me.) Anyway, very sorry it made your headache worse, but tonight's Leverage was Made Of Win. Also, I need a "WWPD?" tattoo now.

I can officially say I <3 John Rogers' writing. This was a very nicely balanced episode.

I just saw the sexiest thing--I FFed TiVo and laned in the middle of a car ad with fast driving and felt a pang of missing the BMW ad movies with Jason Statham. Turns out it was Jason Statham--just for Audi. Hawt.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

sarameg, that is AWESOME. (I feel like I'm channelling DJ Lance.)
