Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
This is cool, in a "makes ya' think" kind of way: The Evolution of Life in 60 Seconds
The Evolution of Life in 60 Seconds is an experiment in scale: By condensing 4.6 billion years of history into a minute, the video is a self-contained timepiece. Like a specialized clock, it gives one a sense of perspective. Everything — from the formation of the Earth, to the Cambrian Explosion, to the evolution of mice and squirrels — is proportionate to everything else, displaying humankind as a blip, almost indiscernible in the layered course of history.
We are in the midst of Dexter S3 via On Demand (we turned Showtime on for The L Word). That show thinks it's more clever than it is, but it's entertaining. I grew to really love the sister and I hated her in S1.
Details for the FNL season 3 dvds.
Good extras. . . 13 minutes extra on the season finale (which I have not yet seen.)

I'm glad I know there's a S3 because I'm all HOW CAN HE GET OUT OF THIS JAM???? right now. Creeped out by Keith Carradine because the last thing I saw him in was a Criminal Minds 2-parter in which he played the US's most prolific serial killer.
ANother Obama Nominee drops out. Gregg. Looks like they disagreed on some key issues....like the stimulus. Unless I am reading it wrong.
Or whether the department for which he was nominated should actually, you know, exist?
The captions totally make these cute lizard pictures! (Make sure you read the hovertext on each pic.)
When you are ops, you need to be in full contact, or make people aware when you are not going to be. I adore some of these people, but I've had to find them to tell them to read their fucking email because we've got an emergency.
I'm done for today. So done.
