My unconscious speed-and-direction calculator said I'd be out of the way by the time the car made it all the way over. but it's still very upsetting to see the side of another car closing in on you.
Yep.
Once I was leaving Milwaukee during a snowstorm - I was in the center of three lanes, doing about 35 mph. A guy passed me in the left lane doing about 45. Then he spun out in front of me. His car spun 180 degrees and was in my lane, going backwards. He continued to spin and ended up in the right lane, facing forward, where he regained control.
It was weird to see a car ahead of me, going the same direction but facing backwards (towards me)....
I wonder how many accidents are made worse because of people who aren't involved but who panic anyway.
Yikes connie! That is not a good way to start the day.
Escapist movies coming to Lifetime this spring. (More Nora Roberts movies.)
and this is different from what they show, how?
I mean, I watch it too, but I doubt anyone would think they're Ms. on their best day.
Well, I meant Nora Roberts movies in particular. (I don't watch most of the other Lifetime movies.)
Of course, if they're not on the regular Lifetime channel I won't watch them at all because I don't get their movie channel.
I have an hour and 15 minutes left to work, but I think that mentally, I am done for the day. I might squeeze in a bit more, but my mind is gone.
but my mind is gone.
Hopefully it's gone somewhere nice, like a warm, sunny meadow....
I wish they'd adapt some of Nora Roberts' trilogies--those are almost always much better than her stand-alones.
