Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That and I had sex with her teenage son

Oh, that. Yeah, that would weird me out. But my attitude might not be the best.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I was stung in the foot twice one summer and the doctor told my mother that one more could kill me. Apparently the venom is worse that a rattle snakes and can stay in your body if you are sensitive to it and it can build up or lower your resistance to it or something.

I was a little unclear on the details as I was about 8 at the time and all I knew was that my instep swelled so much that it was domed outward as much as it should have been arched inward.

I haven't been stung since, but I have always wondered if I am still under a death sentence.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Probably because she is a prim and proper Morman and my online personality is a tad more...salty. That and I had sex with her teenage son (which, I'm hoping she doesn't know).

Ahh. That's different.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ive never been stung either.

Cash, I think it'll be fine, unless of course you've been carrying a torch all these years and posting about it on FB.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I got stung so much as a kid I lost count. I know the first time was a bee and it was between my toes. Last stinging incident involved sitting on a bunch of justifiably angry red ants and was probably ten years ago.(knock wood)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I was stung at least once a summer for much of my child hood. I don't remember when it stopped.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been stung an undetermined number of times, plus bitten by ants and spiders. I just saw a show (1000 Ways To Die--TiVo grabbed for me, it wasn't my idea) that cited the mosquito as the most deadly insect, killing 2 million a year, but that's totally cheating, since I bet few people die from the bite itself, but rather the transmitted disease. Not to mention how many millions get bitten every year and don't die--I'd rather gamble on a mosquito bite than a black widow, which only kills 2 people in the US a year.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Thanks for the link, Hec. I feel somehow about it, as we say out here. I think it's hard to capture what's going on.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned here before that I had over 20 yellowjackets stings from one incident - it did very little to me. But, I've been stung 5 times by scorpions and each of those got progressively worse.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Not to mention how many millions get bitten every year and don't die

Billions get bitten, no? I'd guess billions.

Thanks for the link, Hec. I feel somehow about it, as we say out here. I think it's hard to capture what's going on.

Put it into words you lazy git! "Somehow" subtracts knowing from the situation. Everybody feels something. Don't you know the construction about opinions and assholes? Do you want to capture it anyhow? Or release it? No words is a bad solution. (Sorry, I feel strongly on this.)

Here are my small words: It made me sad and a little teary, and also I felt proud of her. So few options. Small steps. Maybe her coach knows her better than she knows herself. I hope so.

Just little words.
