I just scrubbed 1/4 of my classroom floor. I still have the rest to do and no will to do it.

Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Suzi!
I mailed off the application to renew my passport today. Whee.
My friend is downsizing her office this week. Massively stressful. I'm excited for her to reach the point where she can enjoy the truth...even without the economic imperative, these changes are going to be really, really good for her and the rest of the staff.
Best I can do is offer moral support and pizza.
eta: what I meant to say is, brenda, I hope the shift is a good one for you.
Hey, anybody interested in perusing my resume?
I'm interested in hearing about its readability, any editing needs, etc.
Much obliged in advance.
Oh gawd, Brenda. Yeesh.
I had my phone interview--luckily, sounds like they're very aware the job description (years of experience) is whack, so that's good. The pay thing came up, and apparently that's ALSO whack, but they're also aware of that, so hopefully something could be worked out. Sounds like a second phone (or possibly in-person) interview may be in my future. Fingers crossed.
Big-time jobma for brenda--I hope it's not as ominous as it sounds!!
Appendages overlapped meara. Good luck with them getting wise and giving you what you need.
An excellent interview with Rachel Maddow.
Love this:
During the week she stays in their tiny tenement apartment - the size of a van, she says - in the West Village. She's lived there for four years and is rather proud of the fact that she's yet to use the oven, which she uses as a makeshift bookshelf instead.
I'm not worried about me, not in a layoff sense anyway. But obviously there's something going down, and in these times it's probably unlikely to be a new policy of puppies and cupcakes on alternate Wednesdays.
But if that happens I'll totally let you all know.
ugh brenda, your intuition sounds pretty on target. I hope it isn't too stressful, whatever is going down.
Car has been returned to me by the garage. Yay! Now I can go pick up the kids. I just hope the roof stays put.
