Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Compassionately intolerant

a quick but unscientific survey of my friends is finding that people are seeing crowded retail and restaurants at every turn.

This has been my experience. Sure, we live in a bubble here in the cradle of democracy but there seems to be no slow down at all, even in the 'burbs.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I need to get on the salad train too. I was dying to make myself mac and cheese for lunches for the week, but I went with a less cheesy, more veggie and chicken, pasta casserole.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Happy Birthday Suzi!

At work today, I have discovered that the word automaticity offends me to my very core. So difficult to avoid marking it as wrong on every page.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I miss the days on Wheel of Fortune when they let people take their winnings after every round and buy merchandise.

Happy birthday Suzi!

My last load of laundry is in, 2 hours later than I hoped. I think it`s time to venture outside. It`s cold, but at least it`s sunny.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I brought a TJ chicken salad for lunch today!

I want to go back to bed.

Pictures of the fires in Australia, from the usual place I link to. Includes a picture of a dead horse which I found quite disturbing.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Good laundry doing Sue. I managed 3 loads last night.

Matt - mark it wrong, so wrong.

Dana, me too. Those last $$ having to go to the ceramic dog - good times.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I made two recipes from my Cooking with Trader Joe's cookbook this weekend.

The black bean soup was not anything to write home about but the sesame noodles, which I brought for lunch, are pretty darn good.
