Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That sounds horrible, billytea.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

bt, I was reading about that -- horrible! And that it's thought there may be deliberate arson involved, too.

In happier news, I've got an interview today, for which I am ridiculously nervous at this moment. Hopefully by the time 1PM EST rolls around I'll have that under control....

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

And that it's thought there may be deliberate arson involved, too.

Yeah. Not all the fires, but some of them.

I'm still gobsmacked. I was out driving in Melbourne on the day, I knew there were a couple of fires on the periphery, but nothing like this.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Fire is scary.

I kinda like it (the Katy Perry fruit extravaganza). She's like a cross between Esther Williams and Carmen Miranda.

I didn't see it, but I love this description.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Suzi!

I could not fall asleep for shit last night. I blame the large diet Coke I drank in the afternoon, which is kind of ridiculous. Bleh.

Our wings are not tired.

Fire very scary and deadly. I hope they get it under control soon.

I had to abandon the W&P when a neighbor stopped in to watch with us. It was a pretty good show for the most part.

Now tagless for your comfort.

billytea, is there a fire control program down there? Do they do prescribed burning during the off season to help manage the problem? I'm horrified by the pictures and the losses. It seems like the whole edge of the continent is aflame. I hope your family is safe and sound.

Didn't watch the grammys since I went to bed early. I'm up by myself before the kids this morning and enjoying the peace and quiet with my coffee.

Happy Birthday, Suzi!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I cannot believe I flaked on the Grammy's. When I get a break this morning I will have to find a red carpet site. Maybe I can find the whole show online somewhere.

I overestimated how warm it was this morning, am a wee chilly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I came in to a testy email sent yesterday by a coworker who completely overestimated the scope of what we were trying to do. This is why she can never get anything done! She thinks everything is an enormous deal, when it often isn't. Blergh.

hip deep in pie

HMOG, I have a lot of laundry to do. I thought I would get this done in a morning.

Monday morning isn't the time to mention that I have a new flex-work schedule and get every second Monday off, is it?

There's a Grammy red carpet slideshow here: [link]
