Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I suspect that Park Slope is, for serious, assembling a munchkin army.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee, thanks guys!

Yeah, we need a cleaning person. And fortuitously, one came to our door with her adorable children. But we can't afford it yet. Still, we like to support folks who are out beating the bushes for business. So we'll probably save up and bring her in later.

I am afraid of the pooper revolution.

We are snowed in today! Yay! It is really, really snowy. And the SO just went out for milk & flour, but otherwise we're nicely tucked in with lots of firewood. Had a big leisurely breakfast this morning (homemade french bread with jam, local free range eggs (err, the hens the eggs came from were free range. I don't think the eggs did much wandering themselves), spicy italian sausage.) The sausage wasn't organic or natural or anything. It was just on sale.

But it was all very yum, and I'm looking forward to a day where I don't have to leave the house and can putter around and watch hockey all day.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think you're giving the organizational powers of Parkslopeparents.com way too much credit.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The roomies and I have a cleaning person once a month. It's heavenly.

The status is NOT quo.

I think I just saw an arc float by here. Not complaining--we had a gorgeous January, but we really need the rain--but seriously, it's been raining for three days, and LA doesn't know what to do.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I wish it rained for three days here. We had one. It might rain today. Probably as I walk to the gallery.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not raining down here, which is a nice break. But it means I have no excuse not to run my errands except for I don't want to go out.

I've gotten sidetracked by the series (I kept typoing that seeries) All Souls on Chiller, and it's seriously creepy with a hot lead. Great Sunday fare. In fact, it should be raining.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Mona's first day of school was canceled because of rain yesterday, but the trainer gave us homework for her.

Now she's at Petco, where Kristen is undoubtably spoiling the crap out of her.

I've done the grocery shopping, now I have to get some laundry done. Then I'm spending the rainy day writing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I ran 5K at the gym. DH is now making us chicken fajitas.
