Oh, I'm not using the yarn she uses. .. I'm using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in Mist - (it's gray). I think a gray vest will be very useful.

I looked at two apartments today. Both had fancy things like kitchens and bedrooms. I think I have decided I need to have the absolutely adorable little 1920s cottage that is going to be all fixed up by the end of the month and comes with its own garage. There's flowers everywhere outside, even in February, and a fountain, both of which I expect to entertain the kitties for good chunks of time. Pale blue tile in the kitchen, coved ceilings, and lots of little closets.
I WANT IT.
Plus they're going to repaint it a soft mossy green color, scrape the popcorn off the ceiling, put in new carpet, and replace the vanity in the bathroom. And there's the possibility of new linoleum in the kitchen.
ETA: An apartment this adorable makes me want to knit.

I knitted today as well, on the bus. I am (still) finish up a christmas present of socks. I am trying to start things for christmas now, actually, because my mad christmas knitting just about killed me!

I never learned how to knit. I used to crochet when I was about 11, mostly because I had a pink metal crochet hook which was begging for use, but I never tried knitting.

Thanks, guys! Now I'm getting all scared that someone else might steal it away before I meet with the manager again on Monday. Maybe other people walk around with their last three pay stubs, a copy of their SS card, and letters from their employer. I mean, I don't know their life.
