You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

After a big honking shot of cortisone and a few weeks of wearing a really infuriating brace that I was only supposed to take off when I showered, it was all better and so far hasn't returned.

Yeah, I learned last night that I really should sleep with it on. I didn't get the cortisone shot, they don't do that at the on campus medical center, but if the discomfort continues or worsens I can go elsewhere for it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm rewatching parts of last night's Leverage. I liked the ep, but it's oddly split between the fun Hardison-Eliot-Parker stuff and the serious Nate/Sophie. I like the fun stuff so much more, and it seems like two different shows, kind of mushed together. Also, when did Hardison learn to fight even that well? None of those guys were injured.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

After a big honking shot of cortisone and a few weeks of wearing a really infuriating brace that I was only supposed to take off when I showered, it was all better and so far hasn't returned.

Yeah, I learned last night that I really should sleep with it on.

My problem is that I kept pulling it off in the middle of the night.

I didn't get the cortisone shot, they don't do that at the on campus medical center, but if the discomfort continues or worsens I can go elsewhere for it.

What I learned is that you really need to have the shot done by someone who is familiar with the injury, because the location of the shot has to be pinpointed just right. My primary-care doctor gave me a steroid shot in the general area where it was causing pain -- and he spent a while trying to make sure he got it in the right spot -- and it didn't really help.

I had to see a hand specialist (I wonder if those doctors get bored, looking at injured hands and nothing else, all day long?), and he nailed it on the first try. Of course, that's all he does, all day long.

Art Crawl!!!

Perkins, personally, I choose to believe that Elliott has been giving Hardison personal fight lessons in their off hours.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Masked Man Robs Convenience Stores With Klingon Sword

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who hit two 7-Eleven convenience stores early Wednesday, armed with a Klingon sword.

The first robbery was reported at 1:50 a.m., at 145 N Spruce St. The clerk told police a white man in his 20s, wearing a black mask, black jacket, and blue jeans, entered the store with a weapon the clerk recognized from the Star Trek TV series.

The robber demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

megan, strong congratulations on not-having a kidney stone! From my recent experience with one, I know how much pain one is avoiding by not having one....

Sadly, the pain was not avoided. I just didn't want it to be a stone because those are likely to recur and I realy didn't want to go through that again. It's sort of sad when the better of two options is acute kidney infection.

Bigger is not always better!

Especially true about food.

Although I don't eat sushi, regardless of size.

That is a very fun picture, isn't it, Sumi?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, Hardison did struggle with it more, and I think he started out getting hit and only fought one guy in the time Eliot handled the others. They never did say he couldn't handle himself. Noticably in the last week, Dule Hill has a much better Jamaican accent than Aldis Hodge.

Love them both.

As for Eliot and Hardison, apparently they called each other Murtaugh and Riggs for the filming of the episode. Cute.

As for sumi's suggestion, Hardison has been giving Eliot computer lessons, as evidenced in the Wedding Job.
