Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

AND they brought her a grand marnier cake. Which was yum, but not as good as my chocolate souffle.

I'm not surprised that they didn't sing. Too snooty for that.

Mom had sushi that had kobe beef on it (seriously!)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The medical team that performed my procedure sang Happy Birthday to me. They had me face down on the table with an IV in. Nothing I could do but laugh helplessly.

HA, ita. That's actually kind of cute and adorable and odd all at the same time.

I don't have good experiences with my birthday and medical procedures.

I'm on day 4 in a row of yoga. I can't believe how badly out of shape I am.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh ita, they should not charge you for a procedure if they are going to torture you at the same time. (but I would have sung to you too)

Our wings are not tired.

ita, a few days, a few weeks, a few months. I wish for the interval to be so long you don't remember the last time you were forced to go to the ER. Pain free in 2009.

This. Time a hundred. Laura said it beautifully.

Where is Roy's? And restaurant singing Happy Birthday to anyone over 10 should be outlawed.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wow Kat, that sounds like a nice way to celebrate her birthday. I've never heard of Roys before but of course you know I googled it.

“Not dead yet!”

OH! We took my mom to Roy's for her birthday dinner this week.

Roy's as in Roy Yamaguchi's? We have one out at the beach here and that's where Lewis and I went for our anniversary. It was a really lovely space and dinner was divine, although I have to laugh/cringe at the Florida penchant for going into pretty much any restaurant in shorts and a knit shirt with a collar and calling it dressed up.

Am up and out of the house. It is cold. Didn't stop me from getting an iced coffee. I am going to knit while mac karates. I have not done any knitting since Christmas.

I am going to try to hold out for 3 weeks before I get a fill. I am sure I notice the growth more than others. I will repaint myself today, maybe a deep red.

hip deep in pie

I have been up and out, and it's not as cold as I thought it would be. It's still cold, though.

And I still haven't had a shower. I decided that having a shower would make me delay so long I wouldn't make it to the Farmer's market, so I put a hat on over my greasy hair and went.

No shower for me either. Sat is for stinky.
