"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Yep. Mac. I'll have to try it at work.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

It worked on mine.

NYT crashes my dumb work browser regularly. Or, actually, every time. I can only watch at home. Mac 10.5.6.

I hate hate hate sites that crash even the littlest bit old browsers. I mean, I get it, but at the same time, I've been bludgeoned by an employer who has frozen out employees from crucial required work sites with that kinda crap, which is insane bullshit.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

That graphic won't work on my Mac either.

You understand German people will want you dead, right?

Yup! But it is only four sentences, I tried to explain that to the people at work, most of whom had never heard of Babel Fish (to which I was like, really???) and were therefore really impressed by this magic website, and I realized I cared more about finally going home (technically only an hour and a half after I'm supposed to!) than trying all the people I already tried to see if anyone knew anyone who knew some German.

And I am not scared of the deaf German people who will be too busy watching the special about The Doors to hunt me down.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Gnyarg. I really do need an antenna for PBS when the weather is rough. It was fine Sat & Sun, but is wonky tonight. I miss my snowy picture. Strength is 100%, quality is shit.

That reminds me of when I lived in Bennington, VT and only got one network (NBC I think) and could get Fox only if I held the rabbit ears out the window, but I got three, yes 3, different PBS stations.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Speaking of JT, my friend M is in town from NYC and we went to a Greek restaurant in the Valley tonight. We were the only people in the restaurant except for one group. M. and I think we saw Jessica Biel join that group, and now Bob thinks another one in the group was JT. That's a good sighting for an out-of-towner, right? Especially in the Valley! I never see anyone in the Valley!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh wow - that is NEAT.

Really cool. It's got the scores all messed up though.

Alibelle, if there's still time and you still want those sentences translated into real German, let me know.

(What Babelfish will have given you won't be German.)
