You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Boo food poisoning!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Speaking of Slayer clothes, when I worked at the bookstore on Saturday, every time someone bought something "Twilight" related, I mentioned the t-shirt ("...And then Buffy staked Edward. The End."), which got big laughs from everyone.

I'm thinking about picking one up for my Buffy-loving BIL, whose daughter is a big Twilight fan.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Every time I walk into Borders I see their (still large) displays of Twilight stuff. I tend to chuckle a little after the discussions on this board (haven't read the books or seen the movie).

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I forwarded a link with the shirt to K-Bug, who is a BIG Twilight fan. Her response - that had to come from your Buffy friends, mom. I could see one of them wearing it. Child is too smart for her own good.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi all. I'm a big skimmer and I really shouldn't be chiming in on a discussion that I've only read part of, but I can't help myself.

I think it means most Republicans would rather their party be young and HAWT instead of old and out of touch. Policy's got nothing to do with it.

Even more than being young and attractive, I'm guessing a large part of Palin's appeal is that so many Democrats find her appalling.

Speaking of appalling, a delivery truck just tore one of the branches off the tree in front of our house and left it in our driveway. And then drove away. GRRRR. Luckily for me the work crew at the neighbor's house felt responsible and helped me clear it away.
