All I really know is that she's against gay rights, is pro-life, and is pro-drilling in ANWAR. She talks about government getting out of the way, but what does that mean in terms of policy? She's all about generalities
I think it means most Republicans would rather their party be young and HAWT instead of old and out of touch. Policy's got nothing to do with it.
Man accused of drunken horse riding in snowstorm
CODY, Wyo. – A man has been cited for public intoxication while riding a white horse during a snowstorm in the northern Wyoming town of Cody.
Police say they cited 28-year-old Benjamin Daniels after they received a call Sunday afternoon from a motorist concerned that a man was creating a road hazard by riding his horse on a street in conditions with poor visibility.
Cody Assistant Police Chief George Menig says officers noticed Daniels was intoxicated after they stopped him to explain that drivers were having difficulty spotting his slow-moving white horse.
Menig said Thursday that Daniels was detained Sunday and released the following day. He will go before a municipal judge later.
A friend of Daniels picked up the horse.
There are baby tigers in England playing in the snow!
Awwww....
Damn. Is there any way to save that video file? I'd really like to share it with my students without streaming it (which I'm not supposed to do).
Okay, it doesn't have anything to do with my class. But who doesn't love tiger cubs?
Big baby tiger feets!

Maaaaan, I thought the horse was drunk.
I am so conflicted wrt work right now. On the one hand - have a job with benefits that more than pays the bills. OTOH - my daya to day workload has doubled since Nov. and I am having to figure out the new stuff with virtually no support. Now a shortish term but intensive project is falling into my lap with the aforementioned no support - and the process is changing for the bulk of my day to day work and since it only affects me, no one seems to be concerned or interested to help me understand how I need to adjust.
right, enough.
