Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
Last night, I was thinking about how I could use one more day. And then this morning, I was just late with everything -- stayed in bed too long, dawdled in the shower, forgot to plug in my toaster oven the first time (the timer still works, so I didn't realize until after), etc. So, I was like 15-20 minutes late for work, which isn't a huge deal, except there's a senior staff meeting in the conference room, which I have to walk by to get to my office. @@

Man, I could have done better with Monday if the night before hadn't included waking up in the middle of the night to discover that the snot monster had attacked. AND turning on my overhead bedroom light and having the lightbulb immediately go out.
And then waking up . . . late all zombieriffic with a very tired back.
Need more weekend, please.
