I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

If the shades work it could be really striking.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think with all the different shades of lavender in the comforter, you shouldn't have any problem at all, Matt.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I may start saving up for that to be my next home improvement then. I like my current bedding, but it was chosen with a much more old-fashioned apartment in mind, and looks a bit out of place in a modern bedroom with sliding mirrored closet doors, neon wall paint, and no windows.

SWEET ZOMBIE JESUS! Was that actually Richard Dean Anderson that they got for the MacGruber skit?

eta: Every time I see Jason Mraz on my TV, I want to quote Cher's dad in Clueless at him: "What's with you, kid? You think the death of Sammy Davis left an opening in the Rat Pack?"

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sigh. Between the developments with the mom of the octuplets--esp the bid to peddle her newborns for a tv deal--and the 6 yo left to fend for himself by both his parents, I'm feeling a bit disheartened.

I keep starting to comment and then erasing it. feh. suffice to say feeling judgy and depressed and like I should do something more meaningful with my frustration than just posting about it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Wow. I just watched the most exciting sporting event of the day. Anything else is going to be a letdown.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is it still going on? I just turned my TiVo on and it's still recording something that looked like tennis. Could have been replay--didn't hang out long enough.

Absolutely cannot sleep tonight. Tired of rolling about in bed. Time for tennis.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had a complicated dream about touring England with my family, and was told in the dream that "theft pudding" is slang there for eating pilfered food. So far as I can Google, my brain seems to have made this phrase up.

I think I'm a little in awe at my brain, because it sounds so to me like a phrase that should exist, you know?

Also, Hippo Birdies to Olivia! I also believe this may be Somervillain Ellen S.'s birthday....

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wow. I just watched the most exciting sporting event of the day. Anything else is going to be a letdown.

Not wrong. That was fantastic. I had people over for an afternoon game of Battelstar Galactica, my brother and a friend of his stuck around for the tennis.
