I hate to break it to you, oh impotent one, but you're not the big bad anymore, you're not even the kind of naughty.

Do YOU drive a CAR OF EVIL????

[link]

I was suddenly curious as to whether there was any connection between Zoroastrianism and Ahura Maza and the car company Mazda. Apparently the company founder thought he could help bring about peace and harmony and all that.

But, according to The Christian Sentinal, the founder was up to much, much more!

What if a Japanese company was conspiring to destroy the true faith and replace it with a new age pantheistic man-centered faith? What if it was doing it blatantly and without apology?

There's a bunch more about a book that the company put out about celebrities views of spirituality. ( Christian testimonies (however weak) are thrown right in along with new age and occultic world views. All paths are displayed as valid. )

If we purchase vehicles from this false religious based corporation, we will be contributing to their fiendish efforts to invade Western civilization with a new age agenda. The more money they make, the bigger they will grow in their effort to impose their philosophy on Americans.

However, you must spend your efforts wisely.

Hiring an exorcist to rid your car of demons would be a waste of time.

Not stupid or useless or what have you. Just a waste of time.

Fundamentalist whackos are fun.

Swouncing

Skipping (nobody's surprised, sadly) to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Anne W's birthday.

Happy birthday, Anne! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Happy Birthday, Anne!

Get well ~ma for your father, Calli.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, Sparky. Sorry 'bout the sleeplessness.

Huh, the Mazda demon theory is not something I would have thought of. I wonder what evil origins lurk behind my Honda?

Happy Birthday, Anne!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, Anne!

Hippo Birdies, Anne!

I'm wondering if my car is encased in a thin glaze of protective ice, and how long it will take me to chip it out....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Anne!

The Tenement Museum is fantastic, and I would highly recommend it. You get an hour tour about the lives of a family or two, inside their apartment in this tenement. The tour we did is their original, which has a Prussian Jewish family who moved in around when the building was built in 1862, and an Italian Catholic family who lived there in the 30s, just before the building was condemned.

The woman who just had octuplets already has six kids! Why would she want more kids??? I understand that fertility treatments don't necessarily produce multiples, but I guess I just don't understand wanting more kids when you have six. t /judgey
