Ann, that's a ferret.

Clearly headed to hell, le sigh.

I suspect most Buffistas would see little difference between heaven as pictured by Richard Williamson and hell.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Grrr. I've been on hold with the DC Council's office due to their having redone their webpage and made it impossible for me to find info on last year's session!!

The guy I was connected with said that the website is new to them too, and he'd have to put me on hold while he got some help. That was five minutes ago. I'll wait another few minutes and then try again--I get worried that the people on the other end of the line forget about me after a few minutes.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Blue light destroys antibiotic-resistant staph infection

Two common strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, commonly known as MRSA, were virtually eradicated in the laboratory by exposing them to a wavelength of blue light....

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The good: Meeting with underling went very well, which was uncertain because she's very tight with the drama-causer this morning so I wasn't really sure what her attitude would be.

The not-so-good: Drama-causer may end up being moved under my charge, which is less good. But I'll deal with that if it comes to pass. I like her enough and she's good at her job, but sensitive and high-maintenance like whoa.

I also had to tell underling that there's no funds in the budget this year for tuition reimbursement which was unfun. Out of my hands though, you know?

I thought it meant it could be cured by hanging out in K-Mart. Cure your MRSA and get 20% off! Both on aisle 23!
