We visited Chinese friends yesterday (Monday was Australia Day, so, long weekend!). They gave us red bean congee the moment we walked in, moved on to carrot cake from the Cheesecake Shop before we'd even finished the congee, and gave us an ice cream tub full of smoked salmon (sans ice cream) when we were leaving.
So Wallybee and I bought bagels and cream cheese on the way home and celebrated Chinese New Year in the old-fashioned way.
Sounds fun! The kids and I just ate noodles and oranges for lunch and watched Ni Hao, Kai-lan for our celebration.
I'm tired tonight. Considering an early bedtime. Hahahahahaha.

I'm watching this Last Templar adventure movie on NBC, and Mira Sorvino has my undying gratitude for jumping Scott Foley's bones less than 15 minutes into the show. Girlfriend has taste.
Also, his name in this is Sean, so I'm now imagining that his oceanographer character from Scrubs went into the FBI to make a clean break after Sarah Chalke's character dumped him.

So, somebody broke into our apartment and stole some things. Nothing of mine was taken, but it's deeply unsettling.
