I slept in 'til 9 and then watched police prodedurals and knit 'til I decided to see what everyone else was doing.

(I got a yahoo weather update that said it was 2 degrees outside at 1 pm.)

Grr. I got off my ass and went to pick up my pain meds but they won't be ready until Monday afternoon. And there's no way I can get my car smogged or do groceries with my head hurting so much. The least they could have done was call so I wouldn't have bothered going outdoors.

I am the soul of laziness today. I got up late, had breakfast, a shower and lazed around. Then at noon, because the morning was so taxing, I had a nap. I managed to make it to the grocery store today, but otherwise, nada.

Ugh, ita.

The alcohol doesn't seem to have fixed my computer, but maybe it helped? We'll see...

I also got a free mirror from a woman downstairs who is moving out, so that's nice. But I think I'm sick -- I really could go back to sleep, and I'm not a napper! Two errands took it out of me.

I totally want to go back to sleep. For, like, the whole day. Fat chance.

Ooh, no sick! Sick is bad! Sleep if you must, Jesse! I am just getting over being sick, and it was taking it OUT of me for like, two weeks.

Or may still be, given that I went to sleep some time around....1:30?, got up at 8:30ish and went home around 9AM (girl had to go to football practice) and went back to sleep until 11:30. Um.

Now to head over to a friend's to help paint. And possibly go to the pirate store to figure out a costume for tonight's pirate-theme party. I know some people are going all-out, but I am trying to decide if I should just go in my pirate tshirt (black with shiny skull and crossbones) and maybe a skirt and stripey socks, and figure out an eye patch or something, or if I should really go to the store and get crazy. We'll see if I have time.

Yeah, I don't know. I've had a medium-level cold for like two weeks now, but today I just feel like crap. Maybe I will go back to bed.

Although now I want to go to a pirate party!

Now to head over to a friend's to help paint.

We are in the midst of a not very successful playdate. This kid seems to have zero one-on-one play skills. He will not focus long enough to get through a video game, will not sit and watch tv. is bouncing around going through mac's toys and playing with them while mac watches tv. unfortunately he wants attention while doing this so he is talking alot and playing right in front of mac. but if mac tries to engage in play he moves to something else. ugh.
