Heh. I wonder, in terms of security, if that would ever be allowed.
Also, in the picture of Malia taking her dad's picture, did anyone else think the (orange??) carpet looked really old? Shouldn't the White House carpet be swankier?

One of my favorite personal memories of watching the inauguration was when I glanced away from the tv momentarily and realized that the image of Obama giving his speech on the tv was being reflected in the button I was wearing on my chest, so I could clearly see his head talking with the faint image of the words "Yes We Can" behind it.
It gave me goosebumps!
Did we just have an earthquake? Or someone dropped a piano in the apartment above me.

People just came out of their apartments and talked about it like it was. But it felt very contained.
