It looks like Obama wants to open the Statue of Liberty's crown to to
I'll repeat what I just said in Bitches: Obama is the human equivalent of a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
(I just cleaned my kitchen, and the Magic Eraser, being truly magic, easily cleaned off the foulest stovetop ever to see the inside of a kitchen. And then I thought, "Damn, Obama is fixing stuff and making it look this easy....")
Something at work came up that Ihave a really bad feeling about. I'm hoping it ends up being minor, but I don't know.
Dinner was a milkshake. If I eat a full lunch (as I did today because I'd left my lunch at work yesterday and didn't want to chance it so bought an overpriced sandwich) I am so not hungry at dinnertime.
I've given up thinking I can't find the First Family any more adorable than I already do. Check out the "Change Takes Office" slideshow currently featured on the front page of msnbc.com [link]

I just had a really close call with my computer! Like a jackass, I spilled a little soup on the touchpad area, and I was pretty sure I kept it from getting in any of the crevises, but then the touchpad wasn't working! I restarted, and it seems to be OK now, if a little sticky, but that must be because of leftover shmutz, right?
Sticky in response, or sticky to the touch? Either way, leftover shmutz. Maybe wipe again with a bit of alcohol.
Mac talked about stuff with the therapist. TALKED! It probably wasn't much, but we are trying to push him into doing more with the therapy and this shows good progress.
Sticky in response. Alcohol -- thanks! I was scared to clean it too much with water. That will also clean remaining schmutz off my fingers, which may also be a factor -- of course I had to post here before washing my hands....
When universal health care kicks in, where are we going to get enough doctors to treat them all?"
OK one difference between us and the UK in 1948 is the huge time sink handling insurance company bullshit is for doctors. Get single payer health care or something that saves a comparable amount of red tape, and the admin time saved can make up for the increase number of patients.
