Kat, we pay $10 an hour--because ours are usually college girls paying rent so I consider this a good wage for babysitting. Around here the range is $5-$10/hour. You may want to add a bonus for the cleaning. I'll do that sometimes, too--like an extra $5-10 depending on what job was done.
