Liese, or maybe not. I just googled him. He did med school at Howard University then residency at King/Drew which is UCLA affiliated, including a fellowship, private practice in Vegas then Albuquerque and now back at UCLA.
Google can be so informative!
This weekend is: buy tiles for kitchen backsplash, clean house, go to Harry Potter, Pilates class, yardwork, play Mafia Wars on Facebook, get some writing done.
I just got back from interring Dad's ashes. We're getting ready to go out to my B-i-L's boat, which I've never seen, as I'm usually in MI in the winter. We'll be spending the weekend chilling (literally, in the evening) at the lake. I suspect there may be alcohol involved for some of us. Rather, there will be alcohol involved for the set of "some of us" that includes me, if I have to reach over and pull the parking brake as we're passing a party store.
Calli - I hope that on one these trips back to Michigan, if you want to, we could meet up and meet.
People should totally try to meet Calli. She's really cool.
Same goes for Aims.
Another example of why San Francisco is awesome:
Pabst Blue Ribbon Giant Squid Mural
San Francisco Citizen has photos of the bizarre Pabst Blue Ribbon mural featuring a giant squid located on corner 7th and Stephenson in San Francisco. The mural “I Am Pabst” was created by Jacob White of Los Gatos, CA and is part of the 2009 PBR Art Contest.
eta for link fixed
tommyrot, that link just goes to another post.
Should I walk 5 minutes uphill in 95 degree heat for the chance to eat some brownies and other goodies? Bearing in mind the reception started at 3 and the food could be gone by now. And I'd have to make small talk with coworkers there.
I think I just answered my own question.
