I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{Steph's family}} I hope he makes it through this to be aggravatingly cavalier about his health in the future.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

KILL IT!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Lawyer-types: my mom is a notary, and wants to know if she's legally allowed to notarize the living will and power of attorney for my stepdad's father, since she's his daughter-in-law.

(x-posting in Bitches, too)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oxt weekend: [link]

People often use the phrase “next weekend” to describe the future weekend, but this can lead to confusion. While some interpret “next weekend” to mean this coming weekend, others interpret it as the weekend after, hence the use of the awkward, overly wordy, “not this weekend but the weekend after.” Oxt weekend is a new phrase you can use instead of saying “not this weekend but the weekend after.”

I got 92%--missed one (forgot a Quidditch player's name). I figured if I didn't recognize it as a HP character, it had to be a skin disease.

It's not an island, but this might just do for Buffista House, West Coast division. A Malibu beach house for sale--anyone got $17 million handy?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
