It's because you didn't have a strong father figure isn't it?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Takes a while to load, but totally worth it for Shaka!Obama at the bottom of the page. And I love that it comes with both a red and a blue tie.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Why no beagle love in Chicago?

Baying annoys the neighbors.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is unbelievably awesome. A new game is born among small boys: Who wins, Darth Vader or President Obama??

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Who wins, Darth Vader or President Obama??

Obama: YOU KILLED MY FATHER!

Vader: No, Barack...I AM your father!

Obama: What, do you work for Fox News?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Duh-uh -- Vader works for "This is CNN"!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Obama: What, do you work for Fox News?

Vader: No, CNN.

From Sullivan: Quote For The Day III

"Going forward, anytime the American people want to know something that I or a former president wants to withhold, we will have to consult with the Attorney General and the white house counsel, whose business it is to ensure compliance with the rule of law. Information will not be withheld just because I say so; it will be withheld because a separate authority believes my request is well-grounded in the Constitution. Let me say it as simply as I can: transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency," -President Barack H. Obama.

Fuck, yeah!

Punishingly Intricate

Finally caught up! We were in a place where we could neither see or hear clearly and still had an absolutely amazing time at the inauguration. I am so glad we went. We left after Obama's speech because we were so very cold and went to get coffees which we then took to a pub to Irish up and hung out there for hours, watching the proceedings on tv and talking to a ton of people about what an incredible day it was. Later we saw some of the parade (I LOVE a marching band!). It was just a beautiful day. truly. One of my fave moments was coming out of the stall of the lady's room in this bar we'd stopped in on our way back to the train station. Another lady was coming out of her stall at the same time and we just stopped and looked at each other and broke into huge grins saying "ISN'T THIS SO COOL?!?!??!?!"
