It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

And it was a musical?!? Who was the producer of this thing, the Devil?

Seriously, I startled my upstairs neighbors with my donkey-like braying laughter when I read that. The (wooden-wedge-heeled-shoe-wearing) woman who lives above me (and walks on her HARDWOOD FLOORS in those heels...GAH) was heard to audibly exclaim, "What the f*ck was that?!"

Hee.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Poor Ditaboo, bravely hissing at the water that was COVERING you, and you laugh at her. Like you like being covered in water! Unnatural.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Today's xkcd gave me a really weird, uncomfortable feeling.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That would almost make taking a bath worth it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had a better than average weekend. and I started listening to Wayne Dyer again, and I am going to try to whittling away at my anger this week. I think th boxing and yoga both did their part, so I am starting on a plan to do both things each weekend.

I shall start the positivie week off by doing soem work that should have been done last week that I was just called about - oof.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

After a very long time, I have a tagline. I think it makes me sound sophisticated.

More neighbor drama this weekend. Their eight year old broke two branches on our pear tree. This has resulted in an indefinite ban from our yard.

But that isn't the drama. The police came by to give the mother a warning. Apparently more than one person has reported her kids (6 year old girl, 8 year old boy) being in the middle of the street, forcing them to come to a stop. One person apparently came close to hitting the 6 year old.

I'm a bit ashamed that it never occurred to me to contact the police about this. Those kids are always playing in the middle of the street. That same day I saw the girl walking in the middle of the street, and the boy playing in a wheelchair in the middle of the street. It's a dangerous spot since there is a hill nearby.

Anyhow the policeman asked us some questions about what we had seen and he got some information from the kids. The mother wasn't home which wasn't a shock. I've never actually seen the mother since her 15 year old daughter "takes care" of the kids nearly all the time. For a long time I though she was the mother since she could pass for being in her mid-20s. However, my wife talked to her one day when we had to watch the younger kids for a bit while she was helping a friend who was being arrested. Hence she found out that she was 15 years old.

Ah, neighbor drama.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Questions to ponder:

Why is it Monday?

Why is there suffering in the world?

Why do I have to look at stupid Scientology ads on Google Reader?

I also found out my in-laws have decided that global warming is not only real, but the earth is cooling. Also ice is increasing. They have a book that shows this scientifically. Betcha it wasn't written by a climatologist. Anyhow this came close to a argument between wife and mother-in-law but it was averted.

MiL wants wife to read the book. I'd like the in-laws to read the IPCC report, but I don't get involved with issues of politics or religion with the in-laws. Better for everyone really.
