Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, at first I was going to laugh at the juxtaposition here:

and we are all pulling for the couple to succeed, even if expectations are a bit low.

Oh dear. Twilight tattoos.

But then, I saw this. And I am just in it for the lulz now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sleep accomplished- 150%

Cleaning accomplished- .05%

Sophia's day is my day, though I have done less cleaning. Massive gronk.

I really enjoyed Harper's Ferry. TV shows with limited runs are a good idea!

Cats watching cats on the internet. Humans are in trouble.

The evil is this way?

Harper’s Island -- The finale was both more and less of what I expected. No surprise that Henry was Wakefield’s kid and the second killer. Nor was I surprised that he was obsessed with Abby, although his whole “we can be together forever” was bizarre, even for a crazy person.

Some surprise about who made it and who did not make it off the island. Although I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise about Shea and Madison surviving – it would be a particularly dark show if it killed off a child (and her mother). I was hoping that at least Danny or Sully would make it. Their deaths weren’t surprises, but they did pack some emotion impact, much like Cal’s and Chloe’s deaths. Poor Trish. If she hadn't fallen for Henry ...

I think there were some clues all the way along pointing to Henry. Although some big misdirects. For example, right before the Rev is killed, we see Henry and Trish together, which suggests that the events were taking place at the same time. .

And there were some nifty little touches, like Abby saying “Hi, Dad” to the sheriff in Ep. 1 and Henry saying it to his father in the finale. All in all, the show was pretty good and I would watch another series of it (which I realize ain’t gonna happen). I would also really like to see the actors who played Abby, Sully and Danny in more things.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I came in through the front entrance to my apartment building this morning and noticed a package on my balcony railing. Which is weird, since my balcony is outside my bedroom window, not my front door, and not visible from the apartment complex entrance I normally use. Oh, and one storey up. I have no idea how the package would have gotten there. But I've been waiting impatiently for it for days.

Kinda creepy.

Had to put the old pipe back on the sink -- so 50% there. I am not the best at measuring thing so if DH gets the chance when he comes home it would be better

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Umm... maybe this woman is in denial about her daughter's naughtyness?

'Pool got my daughter pregnant'

Ouch. The daughter is only 13. Chances are at least decent the kid was more "abused" than "naughty". Of course, now she's got even bigger problems since her Mother is clearly "bananas."

OTOH, that is a gorgeous pool. If I were going to lose all control and get knocked up by a swimming pool I hope it would be that one.

Those Twilight tattoos are amazing.

Mostly that there are that many people who both want a Twilight tattoo and are legally old enough to get one.
