On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Buffista cats unite!

Don't say that. They'll form a cat army and overtake us. Hec would be the first one against the wall.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm watching a couple of young women trying to get out the one way automatic gate. It's too amusing to go out and enable their stupidity (by which I mean open the gate so that they don't have to deal with reversing the entire length of the clearly marked one-way driveway).

Or they would all hop on his lap at the same time, causing him to asphyxiate.

Now tagless for your comfort.

msbelle, I have magazine holders for some of my comics, but my reading stash goes into a long flat, storage tub that slides under my bed. This is also a good idea if storage is a problem.

Oh cool! The event is a bridal shower and they're all Russian. The bride-to-be just showed and everyone burst into some really cool song.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Bathroom: 100% clean.
Kitchen: 60% clean.
Comic Books: 50% filed.

sigh.

Tom, do you have the game on while you're working?

Dana - Jul 12, 2009 9:15:37 am PDT #28721 of 30000
I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

That sounds like a lot of progress to me, Tom. My accomplishments for the day so far are:

Eat breakfast: 100%
Watch an episode of Deal or No Deal: 25%

Because books.

So far I've: showered, listened to Disney while cleaning my sewing box (sadly, no wee cartoon birds showed up to sit on my shoulder), sewed three buttons on various things, and watched the beginning of the game.

It's Sunday. I'm pacing myself.
