Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

“Not dead yet!”

Some of both.

Oh. Well, then.

I... have no real response to that.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

did you not learn from the sartorial mistakes of your ancestors?

That'd be a great coffee-table picture book: "The Sartorial Mistakes of Our Ancestors".

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just discovered that it was sprinkling here, which caused a really awesome rainbow, which was a great gracenote to end the day on.

I took pictures, but then discovered my camera battery was pretty much dead. I hope they turn out anyway.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh lord, Hil, you remind me of trying to buy codeine in Mexico. I kept saying it with an accent, wasn't getting anywhere, called my Spanish-speaking friend over to help, and he just said the same thing I was saying! The farmacia lady kept asking me where my pain was. I was like, where ever! It's in the future! (Except, of course, I can only communicate in the present in Spanish....)

Heh. It really would, wouldn't it?

We should write it! A gold mine of history and comedy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

This amuses the hell out of me.

Hee! We totally should! The 70s and 80s alone would be gold mines. Men in sky high platform boots! Acid-washed denim! Leisure suits!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm allergic to the formaldehyde that's in most nail polishes and strengtheners. What happens to my nails when I use it is pretty much what sarameg described: they get papery-thin, peel off in layers, and basically shred.

Clearly, you need Nubar: [link]

Best nail polishes and treatments in the history of ever. Says the woman with something in the range of 450 bottles of polish to her name.

If I had to only ever use a single brand, it would be Nubar. I hear amazing things about the Nu Nails. Haven't tried it yet.

Did I tell you that my Peacock Feathers failed to duo its chrome for me last time I wore it. I was a little bereft.

Which isn't to say I don't like Nubar, because I love their polishes. A lot. Just that my last manicure needed a little lacquer viagra or something. It failed to rise to my expectations.
