Tonight I'm going to some concert in Brooklyn, other than that, not much.
My baby boy turns 3 tomorrow! He's getting a slip and slide for his party. Also dinosaur Duplo. I figure 6 kids aged 3-5 can amuse themselves for a couple of hours with a slip and slide and a sprinkler, right? I am so into low-key birthday parties.
Damn, it just occurred to me: if it rains, we're fucked.
Well, if it rains, you won't need the sprinkler.
tonight - 1) swing by friend's apartment and pick up the laundry and food that my family left there. 2) take mac to playground, make him run or jump or something that expends energy. me to walk the perimeter and avoid using BBerry. 3)Dinner at home at the table (not in front of tv). 4)try homework. 5)mac in be by 9:30, me by 10.
Saturday - 1)sleep until 8 2)YMCA by 10 to punch and kick on the big bag. sit in on half of mac's 11 karate class, go get lunch while he is in there, eat in a mad rush when he is done to make it to 1pm Dentist appt. 3)possibly meet up with friends at my place for visit/playdate. 4)watch avatar with mac.
Sunday - 1)church 2)mac to go with his uncle, me to ? 3)4:30 yoga class 4)go to brother's 5)get driven back home with mac

Hey, it's Friday! What are people doing this weekend?
A little gardening, a little biking, a little baking. I will probably go to a beading class at a nearby bead store on Sunday. Otherwise, my weekend is blissfully unscheduled. I might even vacuum the carpet two weekends running.
Leaving work early to go help out at rehearsal dinner for Niece in Orange County, where I will grind my teeth in order to avoid talking about politics or about what a bad idea this wedding is. Tomorrow, all day at S and BiL's, helping them finish prep for wedding at 6pm. More teeth-grinding. Sunday, home, unclench jaw, do laundry then Sunday night go with friends to Led Zeppelin Laser Show!!!!

I just made an appointment to have the cat's claws trimmed tomorrow morning, after which I work at the bookstore, then get back to my goal of having my apartment completely clean by Monday morning. I'm going on vacation a week from Sunday, and if I can have my cleaning done a week early, I'll be waaaay ahead of the game.
