The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

That works.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hm. I just got a new camera! I was too cheap to shell out for a DSLR (plus, when I'm honest, I don't want a camera body that's as big as the DSLRs), so I obsessively researched the non-DSLR digital cameras, and ended up with the Panasonic Lumix TZ5. It has 10x optical zoom, which blows me away.

Ooh, that's nice. I have a Lumix too (12X Zoom - I've always gone for high zoom, it makes photographing wildlife easier).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So far, so good. There are definitely some people to root for, at this point.
10 minuted in, and I think I want the tattoed woman or the scientist woman to win.

I think Ronnie the gamer is going to be too annoying to deal with.

I want Sheema (sp?), Miss Boobs, and the surfer to go home NOW

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What, what what?

The Giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca, literally meaning "cat-foot black-and-white") is a bear native to central-western and southwestern China.[2] The Giant Panda was previously thought to be a member of the Procyonidae (raccoon) family

So they're not actually enormous raccoons but just vari-colored bears after all?

Dag! First the brontosaurus, then Pluto and now this.

I don't think scientists know fuck-all half the time.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ohhh Tom, that's a nice camera. If I weren't poor I'd consider it. And I've seen your pictures which are beautiful.

In cleaning out stuff, I just found checks from Allyson and Polgara from the kids' birthday that were never cashed. DOH. Am stoopid. This is what happens when you don't write thank you cards.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

So they're not actually enormous raccoons but just vari-colored bears after all?

Further proof that 8 year olds know their shit.

Electromagnetic candy! - Stark

Apparently they were re-classified Ursidae in 2007?

Bwuh? The hell?

I preferred giant raccoons. (squishes eyes shut) giantraccoonsgiantraccoonsgiantraccons

There. Better. Still are. (ignores "experts")

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Dag! First the brontosaurus, then Pluto and now this.

Dude, it's 25 year old news. You have to let it go.

(The reclass was more recent, but based on genetics work done in the early-mid 80s.)

When did you know? And why didn't you tell me at the Bulls game?
